Amendments . . are the forms used to make changes after the initial contract terms and conditions have been agreed upon. It is very important that any new agreements made between you and a Buyer be signed in writing.
You may enter into a contract with a Buyer you feel very comfortable with and may become “lapsed” in getting any new agreements in writing. If you and a Buyer get into any kind of dispute, absent a written agreement for changes, you may wish you had got the agreement in writing. In short, no matter how comfortable you feel with a Buyer, it’s always best to get any agreed upon changes in writing.
